February 2, 1989
The former Chief Secretary. Y.Bhg Tan Sri Dato' Paduka Sallehuddin Mohamed conducted the ground breaking ceremony for the club. At the same time, the Pro Tem Club Foundation Committee (Jawatankuasa Pro Tem Penubuhan Kelab) was formed on May 4, 1989.

November 15, 1989
Instant Greens Sdn. Bhd built the 18-holes golf course. The course was completed on August 14, 1991. Later on November 18, 1991, the Civil Service Recreational Club (KRPA) had been approved to change its'name to Malaysia Civil Service Golf Club (Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia - KGPA).

February 9, 1992
During the soft opening for the 18-holes golf course of the dub which was held on February 9, 1992 by the former Deputy Prime Minister. YAB Tun Abdul Ghaffar Baba, an Inaugural Trophy competition was organized and Y.Bhg Tan Sri Abu Talib Osman, won the championship.

November 2, 1992
The additional 9 Holes course which covers the forest started on November 2, 1992 and was completed in April 1994. On March 4 1993, the club house was built based on the idea from YBhg. Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid.

September 19, 1999
With Tan Sri Abdul Halim Ali as the president of the club, the former Prime Minister. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad officiated the grand opening ceremony for the club.
